Q: Where is the swim school?

A: We swim at Aqualife Swim Centre, which is based at Littlehampton Marina, Their address is, Unit 1B Littlehampton Marina, Ferry Road, BN17 5DS

Take the A259 heading towards Bognor Regis, there is a left exit signed “West Beach / Rope Walk” take this and keep left, this is Ferry Road that leads to the Marina entrance, you will get to a security boom gate, we are past this on the left hand side, you can't miss the centre as there is a large sign outside our unit 1B.

Q Where can I park?

A: There are 4 parking bays directly outside the unit, if these are full there are additional bays across the way against the fence marked "Boat Storage"

Please do not use the bays either side of the centre, unit 1A or 1C, as these are for the use of those tenants.

Q: What range of lessons do you offer?

A: After school group, 1:2:1 & 2:2:1 lessons for children ages 4 years upwards.

Adult 1:2:1 lessons / 2:2:1 lessons.

Q: How long is each lesson?

A: 30 minutes.

Q: How do I book my child into lessons?

A: Please fill in an email enquiry form with all details, you will be contacted via email and Hannah will try to contact you ASAP. in the instance that there is not a suitable space available then your details will be placed onto our waiting list for new swimmers. The more flexibility you have the more likely it is we can offer your child a place.

Q: How old does my child have to be for group lessons without me in the pool?

A: 4 years old, but the main thing is that your child is to be happy to be in the water without a parent. So we can look at starting sooner.

Q: How warm is the water?

A: The pool at the Aqualife Swim Centre is kept to a comfortable 31.5 – 32.00 degrees and is a salt water pool ( it is not as salty as the sea, but has a mild salt taste ).

Q: How many children are in each group lesson? ( without a parent )

A: Maximum of 6, we believe in the importance of small classes, this leads to more individual attention and faster progress made by the swimmer. Most leisure pools can have up to 10 swimmers in a lesson so we are very small in comparison.

Q: How long do I book for?

A: It is required that swimmers to sign up for at least 1 term of lessons which usually lasts between 11 - 13 weeks. This ensures regular attendance and guaranteed progression for your children. It is up to you if you wish to re-book subsequent terms. Enrolled swimmers get priority booking for the next term.

Q: Are the teachers qualified?

A: Both Hannah and Sarah are fully ASA qualified, and have years of experience in teaching swimming at all ages and abilities.

Q: Will the teacher be in the pool with my child?

A: Yes, our teacher teaches from inside the water, for the higher abilities occasionally they may demonstrate outside the pool.

Q: Do we get a refund for any missed lessons?

A: We do not refund missed lessons due to your child being ill, school functions or holidays you have booked. In the unlikely event that  lessons have to be cancelled by Seashells, you will be refunded, this will come in the form of a credit carried over to the following term.

Q: Is there swimming during half term weeks?

A: Seashells only runs term time so there are NO weekly lessons during half term, however, we do occasionally run intensive courses during the holidays if the demand is there. These would consist of 5 daily 30 minute lessons.

Q: What do I need to bring with me?

A: All you need to bring is a swimming costume for your child & a towel. Goggles are helpful but not essential. We provide all noodles, flotation devices, equipment and toys for the lesson.
