Welcome to  Seashells Swim School, owned by Hannah. We are a small and

friendly swim school based on Littlehampton Marina, West Sussex.

All our teachers are fully qualified swimming instructors, with current DBS and

training in safeguarding. We are a small team of teachers that are passionate

about teaching swimming and water safety.

Our aim it to provide swimming lessons, that are engaging, fun and relaxed in

a safe environment.  We specialise in building water confidence for the

non-swimmer and also improving stroke technique for those who are more

able.

Here at Seashells we really appreciate that all swimmers are different and

learn at their own pace, this is why class sizes are kept small. There will only ever be a maximum of three swimmers in a group. Having small group numbers is extremely beneficial as our swimmers are able to have more attention and interaction with the teacher and this leads to quicker development over a shorter period of time.

During the lessons the instructor is always in the water, which I have found to be a far more effective and practical approach to teaching in order to aid each of the swimmers on their journey.

All of our lessons follow The Swim England Learn to Swim Programme, this is a national teaching syllabus for delivering safe and inclusive swimming lessons, it also ensures swimming lessons for all ages meet a high and consistent standard.

Since February 2018 I also took over ownership of the pool, so can assure you that the water is always clean, warm and welcoming!​
